Probably but they said that Barr has complete control this way rather than with a special appointment like mueller.

I am actually hopeful with this guy.

We’ll see.

Joe DiGenova vouched for Barr and so far his assessment has proven to be correct.

This new guy seems to have a background where he went to cleanup after Herr “Weasel” Mueller’s shenanigans in Boston were brought to light.

He sounds like a good candidate to do another Herr “Weasel” Mueller cleanup....

I'm maybe 10% hopeful.

“”I am actually hopeful with this guy.””

We all have to be hopeful but it’s difficult as we’ve turned into cynics and skeptics and with good cause. Have to say that I’m not enthused about this statement:

“”Attorney General William Barr has appointed a U.S. attorney to examine the origins of the Russia investigation and determine if intelligence collection efforts targeting the Trump campaign were “lawful and appropriate,””

I like “the origins of” but not so much “if the efforts were lawful and appropriate”. Knowing how things go in DC, that’s easy enough for anyone to say - no problem, they were but it’s not going to be enough for us if that’s the answer. We can’t trust any of them anymore.

We heard the “bulldog” thing about Mueller also, didn’t we? I’m going to remain skeptical, I’m afraid.

If you haven’t done so, not to be a “downer” but everyone should read Sidney Powell’s book and see how the DOJ has operated under our noses forever without anyone being wiser and nothing done to get rid of the corruption! An eye opener. None of us want to believe it but we can only shove our heads in the sand so far!

“”Licensed to Lie: Exposing Corruption in the Department of Justice is a book she prayed she would never have to write. It’s written in the style of a legal thriller to be enjoyable and understandable to non-lawyers, but it is the true, behind-the-scenes insider perspective on major litigation during the last decade. If you think you know the truth about what happened to Arthur Andersen, Merrill Lynch, Enron, and former United States Senator Ted Stevens, think again. You won’t know the truth until you read LICENSED TO LIE. …””
