It was a big day for the kids in Mr. Ratburns grade-school class and, by extension, the children (and parents) who watch the long-running PBS Kids series Arthur. In todays Season 22 premiere of the animated show, Arthur and his friends learn that their teacher Mr. Ratburn was going to be married.
What none of them was expecting is that he is tying the knot with an aardvark named Patrick.
The episode, titled Mr. Ratburn and the Special Someone, shows the teacher taking a cell phone call while preparing to hand out a pop quiz on homework.

another reason to not give to PBS and to demand federal government stop funding this crap.
Oh, if there is a fund drive, you might want to call the place, but just to refuse to give. Tying up phone lines might keep the donations down, I am not sure.
During the fund drives, the PBS outlet from Watertown, NY we get up in my locale usually rolls out the same awful programming over and over (aimed at the retirement hone sect) and that’s been enough to keep me from donating.
Sometimes I read the articles here and think someone slipped LSD into my soda when I wasn’t looking :)
” . . . that he is tying the knot with an aardvark named Patrick.”

Democrats are evil scum.
PBS, socialist/progressive from its birth. No surprise here.

Thanks again, Mitch McConnell, for fully funding the Corporation for Public Broadcasting once again.
But Francine is still straight, right? RIGHT?!
I am so glad that my kids are grown now.
We can’t just entertain kids without trying to shove “woke” progressivism down their throats?
I rather miss Captain Kangaroo, The Mickey Mouse Club, and Kukla, Fran, and Ollie.
Will their Best Man be Mr. Gerbil?
Hate to break it to you, but you will be hard pressed to find any child’s show without homosexuality in it anymore.... Been that way for a decade or more now.
Loud House... main characters best friend has 2 dads, and one of his sisters they “out” by having an entire episode about her liking “Sam”... only to find out at the very end Sam is short for Samantha.
PBS is actually WAY behind the curve on this stuff.
I just hope that they are raising their kids to think freely...
