On Sunday, Bill Nye the Science Guy stepped in on Last Week Tonight with John Oliver to help explain the thinking behind the Green New Deal and carbon pricing.

Bill Nye, who acts like a scientist and wears a lab coat only has a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering. What he did and does is schtick for a local TV show. And while I’m at it. Dr. Phil is not a doctor, he’s a family law attorney. And the Monkees songs were written by Carole King and Neil Diamond. And the cake is a lie!

I dig Yelp when even the Leftard gave 4-stars because, but still dissed Oliver and LWT experience every which way:
- "Why is security so tight? Are they afraid some terroristic republican will crash Trevor's party?
- Audience was composed of mainly young women.
- The wait was as long if not longer than the taping.
- The usher was a stickler for having the line in order of the number given.

What is the OPTIMUM CO2 level for us and our planet?
Real science suggests that optimum plant and animal growth
would put that somewhere around TWICE what we have today.
In fact, mining deep ocean hydrates and carbonates for
carbon will likely become necessary at some point in the
distant future, before “we” have too little CO2 for life
should “we” never learn how to live independent of this planet.

Nye’s college professors were telling me in the 70’s an ice age was just around the corner. Nye now needs to explain that.

I remember as a kid when I bought their album with the school bus on it. I was shocked to read the back cover and find that the only one who contributed was David Partridge and that was just some vocals. I was dazed and confused. They seemed to be playing on their TV show. All smoke and mirrors
I was with you until the "cake" comment. What is that about?
Also, the Monkees comment is on a different level. They weren't out to deceive people in a potentially hurtful way.
Reminds me of those so called religious prophets who predict the end of the world down to the day and were a laughing stock when the predicted day of the end came and went.

Nye looks like the creepy guy who hangs around your neighborhood that you want to keep away from your family and off your property.

Not trying to diss the Monkees. Actually I like their music, I was just on a roll there. Most groups didn’t write their own songs back then. It was the Beatles that changed that trend. The cake thing is an internet gamer meme.
