Ted Cruz defended President Trump, even before the Mueller report was released, and correctly predicted that Democrats would continue to target the president with their witch hunt but called on them to drop it and work with the president:

He’s also called them out for their ridiculous attacks on Barr.

I agree. Another story with no accompanying pictures of coup leaders being hauled away in handcuffs. How nice of a House member to make an issue of it AFTER they lose the majority. Meanwhile, the dems keep doing stuff that moves the coup forward.

Unfortunate you cannot prove it.

Yeah right. It’s right there in the open to anyone with half a brain. The earth isn’t flat, chemtrails aren’t real, Roswell wasn’t aliens.... but yes, America had a violent coup carried out by elements in the Joint Chiefs and Intel community, with the head nod from Texas oil interests.
And afterwards, several dozen people were murdered to solidify the result.

Sad to see there are so few vocal prominent republicans supporting POTUS. Where are Rubio, Cruz, the Turtle and the like

Apparently, McConnell is only a “liar” when Ted Cruz runs for POTUS. The Mueller Coup would never have happened without top cover from the GOP. The bipartisan veneer the GOP gave to Mueller’s police state tactics will harm this country for generations.

Gohmert is great at monday morning quarterbacking. Where was he when Ryan was stonewalling and late sidelining Nunes?

How soon we forget Cruz’s weak response to the border National Emergency. Recall he stated he was undecided while the battle raged for a week. Then voted to support POTUS and issued a CYA statement. Sorry. That’s not good enough. Tillis ended up switching his vote. Maybe more GOP would have supported POTUS ahd the so called GOP conservatives been more support of POTUS on this issue.

The Democrats fight for every inch. Every. Single. Day. A hit and run beltway theater performance is not what is required in this historic battle. Sorry.

And the movie “JFK” inspired a virulent response from the US government. “JFK” came out 28 years after the coup. It wasn’t a movie about ancient history. If it came out today, it would have been discussing an event that happened in about 1991. They freaked out because they knew some people were still very exposed.

“Executive action” came out 10 years after and was suppressed and scorned.

The country has almost instinctively known that JFK was killed by opposing forces in our government and that those forces have managed to hold onto power since that time.

In fact, they even freaked out in 2017 when Trump was declassifying things from 1963. They successfully got some of it to remain classified “to protect the reputation of some people still living”.

Says it all for me. Can anyone imagine records about the Lincoln assassination being secret in 1919? Records about the McKinley Assassination being secret in 1955? Records about some mission in WWII being secret in 1994?

On it’s very face it’s ridiculous. It means they are hiding things they don’t want us to know.

“It’s time for Republicans to say, ‘Enough already.

The Congressman assumes that the Republicans have the strength of character to say this. Outside of a few, like Gohmert, Meadows, Jordan, Collins and Nunes, that is not the case. Most Republicans will stand mute as the Democrats continue to muddy the waters with unfounded accusations.

Most Republicans want to sell out America for their profit and power, just like Democrats.

They (the GOP) feel just as threatened in that Trump is not a politician on the take...maybe even more so because Trump represents a hostile takeover of what was their own plaything Party.

“The critical phase is over. They can impeach him but they can’t remove him.”

They can do other, more radical, things to complete the coup. That’s why I hope PDJT is ensconced in Kevlar every waking moment. In other banana republics, coups end in bloodshed, and the Rats would be OK with that.

‘There’s a movie called ‘Executive Action’ that was made quite a while ago that is chilling to watch. Essentially, the movie shows the Kennedy assassination as a CIA op.’

Kennedy was an idiot that nearly got the world blown up by refusing to believe that the Soviets would put missiles in Cuba, despite being shown hundreds of pictures to that effect. If the CIA offed him, they got that one right.

Yes, Cruz has supported Mr. Trump on occasion but I expect a LOT more from him. His support has been tepid imo. Lindsey Graham is more supportive and VOCAL than Cruz, the “ultra” conservative.

I am a bit defensive of Cruz because there are so many Cruz haters on this forum who just will not leave it alone, but I completely agree with you. I never in a million years would have expected Graham to outshine Cruz in supporting the president. But he has.

I too was a Cruz guy during the primary and I still support him, but he could do a lot more and it’s really disappointing to me too, fwiw.
