Now, however, we have new evidence, in the form of the Mueller report, to evaluate the Page FISA application. We can ask: Was the information the FBI relied on true? Were the FBI's representations to the court accurate? The answers do not bode well for the bureau. Well DUH. So we're to believe Byron York is just getting woke on this now? He's an idiot or worse.

They weren’t wrong. They just F-ing lied. Knowingly and deliberately.
They are criminals that should face the gallows.

They were wrong is the same fashion that a den of rattlesnakes is repulsive.

The FBI was not wrong... They had an agenda in the same way that the national media PROSECUTED the story. And for exactly the same reason.
They know full well traitors are hanged.

One of the things I have always wondered about is why Carter Page was the subject of several FISA warrants? He wasn't a high level advisor, and wouldn't seem to have access to much information. Is it just because the FBI thought he was the easiest guy to pin some bad info on? He already had somewhat of a relationship with the Russian government, so I guess he was just a convenient scapegoat.
It probably wan't necessary to actually find anything, because the FBI knew there probably wasn't anything. But the Page connection to both Russia and Trump, even though they were not related, allowed the Obama administration to tie them together, even if only in theory.
Seems extremely tenuous to me, unless there is something more.

The rank and file agents may not be personally corrupt, but they are willing to ignore the collective corruption going on in their organization. An organization takes on the values of its leadership. The individuals then function within that set of values since ignoring corruption allows them to advance.
