IMMIGRATION SKEPTICISM: IT’S NOT JUST FOR THE RIGHT ANYMORE
Powerline ^ | May12,2019 | John Hinderaker

That is happening in Denmark, currently governed by a conservative, immigration-skeptic coalition. With an election around the corner, the front-runners are the Social Democrats, who are stealing the right’s thunder on Islamic immigration:

Donald Trump couldn’t have said it better. But the Social Democrats go much farther than Trump’s administration in drawing a line against mass immigration:

Under her leadership, the SD have called for a cap on “non-western immigrants”, for asylum seekers to be expelled to a reception centre in North Africa, and for all immigrants to be forced to work 37 hours a week in exchange for benefits.

She has reached out to the populist Danish People’s party (DPP), doing a series of joint interviews with its leader, Kristian Thulesen Dahl, and discussing cooperating with them in government.

But it is the government policies her party has supported which have been most alarming for her allies in the left-of-centre red bloc. These include a law allowing jewellery to be stripped from refugees, a burqa and niqab ban, mandatory handshakes irrespective of religious sentiment at citizenship ceremonies, and a plan to house criminal asylum seekers on an island used for researching contagious animal diseases. In February, she backed what the DPP has branded a “paradigm shift” – a push to make repatriation, rather than integration, the goal of asylum policy.

In a democracy, the voters will eventually get what they want. And Danish voters have made it clear they are not interested in becoming Libya North.

“and a plan to house criminal asylum seekers on an island used for researching contagious animal diseases.”

Very appropriate.

Do like Switzerland. Severely restrict immigration and deny citizenship to those not sufficiently integrated.

Hoorah, and bring it here pronto. Repatriation now!

Europe is basically run by Femi-Nazis women and feminized men. Europe lost its will and masculine lineage after two population decimating wars. Liberal women are easy pickings for Islamic hordes.

Was in Germany in the 80’s. Back then all their able bodies welfare recipients had to work for their benefits.

Germans at that time were ticked the Turks were moving in!

Wish we had it here. At work, 90% of the Medicaid recipients are foreigner’s, many from the Middle East.

Doubt the Germans kept that stipulation on working for benefits.

Are humans stuck on stupid??

I vote for housing them of Johnston Atoll.
That’s as close as they need to be.

Sounds like a great plan - I would vote for her despite her leftist take on economics.

We can fight over economics after the country is saved from the invaders.

Mjolnerparken, a housing project in Copenhagen, is classified as a “ghetto.”

taken on December 6, 2018.... shows buildings on 'Lindholm island in Denmark'. The Danish government proposed using Lindholm island for up to 100 criminals whose sentence of deportation cannot be carried out because they risk torture or execution in their home country.

The Social Democrats are just tired of losing because of immigration, so their response, increasingly, is to also adopt restrictive policies. (Until they’re in power)

that’s double bull
1. “Europe” combines a lot of different areas — I assure you that Central and Eastern Europe (Central Europe = former eastern bloc, Eastern Europe = Russia/Ukraine/Belarus) are not pansy

2. The population decimating war - then the USA should have been a pansy in 1860. No, the ones that lost the most were in Central and Eastern Europe and these aren’t pansies

In a democracy, the voters will eventually get what they want.

Which is why global elites seem hell-bent on moving us to a different model of governance.
