I agree and assumed you meant as much. I’ve seen many of your posts here and have never seen anything that I recall being at all unconservative.
One problem we have is that politicians of both parties seem to wrap themselves in labels whenever it seems politically expedient. We saw this with the Tea party movement. Lots of RINOs wanted in on the action. Kingmakers wanted to somehow get control of the grassroots effort.
Another problem we have is too many on our side want simplistic solutions, soundbite answers, and are not willing to do the heavy lifting when it comes to getting educated. One of the main reasons I come to FR is to get educated. There are many things I don’t know and am only scratching the surface to learn. But I continue to try and gain more understanding of the relevant subjects.
We see masses on the left who seem to be in a stupor and can only think “orange man bad.” On the other hand, we cannot afford to react in kind with unthinking beliefs. We need to be able to make the case why conservatism (not just the label) works IF we ever try it.
I would suggest a sharper goal: make the case why and what it would take to restore our Free Constitutional Republic.
