I prefer my little 9MM stun gun—Though in winter it would more likely be the 1911 .45ACP or .357 mag.

An important point is it makes it official policy to allow/encourage self defense by the person being attacked. Establish that point, and the Second Amendment pretty much follows.

In England, the theory of gun control is the government is supposed to protect you. You are not supposed to have to protect yourself.

I goes against hundreds of years of common law in England, but that is the theory that was pushed.
