Rosenberg was sentenced to 58 years in prison, Evans 40.
President Bill Clinton pardoned both women in January 2001.

"As Deputy Attorney General, Holder, as The Washington Post explained, 'was the gatekeeper for presidential pardons.'
Indeed, Holder was a key figure entrusted with the task of vetting the Clinton administration's 176 last-minute pardons in January 2001.
The beneficiaries of those pardons included such notables as former Weather Underground members Susan Rosenberg and Linda Evans (who had used false identification to buy firearms, harbored a fugitive, and was in possession of 740 pounds of dynamite at the time of her arrest in 1985)."

Susan Rosenberg, who had been invited to Hamilton College as an artist-in-residence with the Kirkland Project, has decided to withdraw.
She was scheduled for a month-long seminar on memoir writing next semester, which raised concerns both on and off campus because of her past.
Ms. Rosenberg served 16 years in prison for possession of explosives and weapons before her sentence was commuted by President Clinton in 2001.
The Hamilton College faculty met on Tuesday afternoon (Dec. 7) and engaged in a thorough and thoughtful discussion and affirmed the high value they place on the free expression of a diversity of opinions by people from a wide variety of backgrounds.
Ms. Rosenberg subsequently indicated that she considered it in the best interests of all parties to withdraw.

Born in Brooklyn, New York on June 13, 1947, Jerrold Lewis Nadler attended Stuyvesant H.S. in New York, and then went on to earn a BA in Government from Columbia University in 1969 and a JD from Fordham University Law School in 1978. At Columbia he founded a student group known as the West End Kidsreferring to the West Side of Manhattanwhich sought to reform New York City Democratic politics by supporting liberal and anti-Vietnam War candidates. True to his groups mission, Nadler in 1968 worked for the presidential campaign of Democrat Eugene McCarthy, who ran on an antiwar platform.
Throughout his years in politics, Nadler has maintained close ties to socialist organizations. In 1977, for instance, he was a member of the Democratic Socialist Organizing Committee (DSOC), and by 1983 he had joined the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) and Nadler remains a DSA member to this day.
In 1998 and 1999, Nadler used his influence as a Judiciary Committee member to oppose the impeachment proceedings against President Bill Clinton. Not long thereafter, Nadler became personally involved in an effort to gain clemency for Susan Rosenberg, a former Weather Underground terrorist who was serving a 58-year prison term for her role in the deadly Brinks armored-car robbery of 1981.
On January 3, 2019 Nadler became Chair of the House Judiciary Committee.

Isn’t it funny how the people (Clinton, Holder) who pardoned these terrorists are the very same people who want to take away our 2nd Amendment rights?
