Is there a California GOP?

Sure couldn’t tell it by me.

I’ve observed nothing from the leadership in close to forty five years.

Think about it. Prop 13, Prop 187, the voting out of Rose Bird, and two other judges on the SCOC, and the recall of Gray Davis... the Republican party was nowhere to be seen.

These were all efforts lofted by individuals, not the party. Ronald Reagan left the office of the governor in 1975, and since that time we’ve seen nothing out of the Republican Party in the state.

Pete Wilson was a moderate, no claim to fame there for Conservatives.

Let's go take it over. :-)

Or just all switch to Democrats. With the open primary nonsense, which also should be illegal, we'd blend in with the opposition and be able to influence the outcome for one of the two candidates likely to win.
