Cool!

Strip it down and offer to sell it back to them if they’ll throw in the Pueblo.

I would have made giving back the Pueblo a prerequisite for any talks.

It would have been a good proxy as to how serious the Norks really were.

Glad to see we’re getting serious about enforcing laws or agreements that are ON THE BOOKS.

Little confused here...

Hermit Kingdom = North Korea?

Meaning they used the ship to transport coal to themselves???

Right. The author should go back to the 6th grade and learn how to write clearly.

” to export coal from North Korea in exchange for machinery, court documents stated. “

“A North Korean cargo vessel used to transport coal was seized in violation of international sanctions against the rogue regime, the U.S. Justice Department announced Thursday, just hours after the hermit kingdom fired two suspected short-range missiles.”

I think she means:

A North Korean cargo vessel used to transport coal in violation of international sanctions against the rogue regime was seized, the U.S. Justice Department announced Thursday.

Why does this article keep calling North Korea “hermit kingdom,” sometimes capitalized and sometimes not?

An article written by Devlin Barrett, linked below, explains the whole thing clearly and has a picture of the ship...

This is such a side show to the real threat to this country. It is a diversion from preempting a nuclear strike on this nation.

I want to recommend that you brace yourself for a direct attack on a US war ship with devastating effect. Kim is a mad man . He is 100% psychopathic. He Killed his two trade negotiators as soon as he got back from Vietnam. It is time to quit with the patty cake on this guy. GET READY.

We don't need it back as it would just be scrapped anyway.

Decommission it where it is. One B-2, with some F-22's flying Cap should do it.

The two F4C's should have been allowed to continue in 1968.

I agree, but it would at least be a sign if they were really serious or not.

My method of decommissioning would be a stronger indication of seriousness.
