Remember when Sasse was the darling of the “conservative” organization that begged for money to elect US Senate Republicans who support our agenda? How did Ben Sasse ever get by them?
Rush this morning believes the “Never Trumpers” in the Deep State are plotting to get rid of Trump in 2020 by running a RINO candidate (Romney or Sasse for example) as an independent in those Rust Belt states that Trump won, not to win, but to siphon off enough votes so as to ensure that the Dem wins.
They are simply completely despicable thinking only about protecting the “Deep State” and themselves.
All NeverTrumpers are Globalists.
Trump isn’t the only person being surveilled by Deep State.
They tried it with Reagan. They ran Andersen.
I live in NC. So as a constituent, I called both Burr’s and Tillis’ DC offices this morning. Said I am a life-long Republican who will never vote for Burr again and, since he’s not up for reelection this time, I’m taking it out on Tillis, who is. Maybe such calls are having some effect.

I’ve met several times in past. Each time I felt I could knock him over with a “Boo”. IOW, he seems fearful.
Tillis has to run for re-election in 2020, that’s the only reason he went against Burr.
He can’t appear to be too anti-Trump.
Graham helped Trump in the Kavanaugh hearing, but was that because he has changed from his amnesty-pushing days (”see you at the signing”), or is he just trying to maneuver his way to political power? I hope he is trying to return to righteousness, but we should wait and observe.
Go with the shillary plan ... “I don’t recall” or just plea the Fifth. Even though they hate the US Constitution, they can’t deny him the use of it.
