Daily Wire ^ | Mahy 8, 2019 | Hank Berrien

President Trump, who already has had a mammoth impact on America’s judicial system by appointing over 100 judges and flipping the Pennsylvania-based Third Circuit Court of Appeals to majority Republican appointees, is posed to flip another Circuit Court of Appeals: The Second Circuit. There are 13 Circuit Courts of Appeals in the U.S.

According to the article, right now there are enough vacancies on the 2d Circuit for it to be flipped. That's great because it covers NYC and much of NY state. It's also regarded as the 2d most influential Federal Circuit Court of Appeals, right behind the DC Circuit.

Republican majority does not always equal Conservative majority.

Republican majority does not always equal Conservative majority.

Agree...however, a democrat majority always equals a liberal majority.

Good. Just in time to smack down Cuomo’s bill of attainder ploy to allow Nadler to get the President’s tax returns of the last 10 years.

Note: POTUS’s tax returns, personal and corporate, are managed by the best accountants. There will not be any finding of tax violations or crime.

What could be found are the identities of the President’s business associates and partners. The President’s enemies want to know who they can harass and torture as leverage against the President.

True - but at least we have a chance. If democrats were choosing judges we’d have zero chance of getting a conservative...

Good point about POTUS’ business dealings ...

I have said many times that if DJT had intentionally defrauded the Feds via some tax dodge, he wouldn’t be sitting in the Oval Office. He would be in Club Fed somewhere courtesy the IRS. The left willfully ignores that simple fact and continues to say that anyone in business that has ever lost money is evil. How stupid!

There seems to be simply no bottom to the depth of ignorance on the left.

I’d settle for the Wide Latina or old man Breyer or best of all, Kagan. Replacing any of the Gang of Four would be monumental. It would change the court from “desperately hanging on by our fingernails” to having our constitutional rights be secure.

I could also foresee a domino effect. I think all but Kagan are just trying to hang on until a Democrat gets in the White House. If one goes, the others would know their cause was hopeless and I could see them throwing in the towel. Replacing two of the Gang of Four would be an earthquake.

This is critical because if he can flip it certain people will immediately be back in chains!

Women and children of color and LGBTQs affected most severely!

The gang of four on the supreme court vote as a liberal bloc 99% of the time, so at the very least, Trump-appointed justices will consider the constitution and issues before casting their votes. It’s been an improbable past two years and I sometimes feel that the hand of God is in here.

If losing money is criminal then every congress person who has passed tax bills and then spent more than we had should be in prison.

From the article:

“On Wednesday, Schumer ripped Park, saying, “Frankly, his principal qualification seems to be that he’s a card-carrying member of the Federalist Society … He’s an ideologue. He doesn’t have the kind of balance and integrity and compassion and understanding of both sides that any judge needs. It will be obvious to anyone who reviews his record that he lacks the breadth and objectivity that we prize in our judges.”

Here’s why Park is unqualified (/s):

Park earned his Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Princeton University, and his Juris Doctor from Yale Law School in 2001, where he served as managing editor of the Yale Law Journal.[1] After graduating from law school, Park served as a law clerk to then-Judge Samuel Alito of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. From 2002–2006, he was an associate in the New York City office of Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr.

Park was an attorney-advisor in the United States Department of Justice Office of Legal Counsel for two years, and then again clerked for Alito during the 2008–2009 term after he became an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States.[2][3] There, he was a co-clerk with Andy Oldham. He was counsel at Dechert from 2009–2011 and a partner from 2012–2015.[4] Since 2015, he has practiced as a name partner at the boutique litigation firm Consovoy McCarthy Park PLLC.[5][6][7]

In 2016, Park represented the Kansas Department of Health and Environment in its effort to cut off Medicaid funding to Planned Parenthood.[8]

Park is an adjunct professor at the Antonin Scalia Law School, where he teaches the Supreme Court Clinic.[9]

He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Supreme Court Historical Society, the Board of Directors of Operation Exodus Inner City, and the Asian American Bar Association of New York. Park is a member of the Federalist Society.[10]

Bianco is not only a great pick, but Trump now gets to appoint his replacement for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Here are Bianco’s qualifications:
