Why do I keep seeing old quotes that I agree with made by him?

Did he just say what he needed to in front of certain crowds at certain times?

Or was he less left once?

Everybody in politics says whatever they think their audience wants to hear at any particular moment. They always have. The difference is the Democrat media has always been able to cover it up.

Now we have alternative media.

His past quotes are biting him in the rear!

My older daughter and her family live in Des Moines, Iowa. Very nice family-oriented town. Two of our grandchildren are in schools there, and the schools are excellent. The teachers and admins are focused on skill-building for the kids, lots of science is promoted. Wonderful libraries and science museums. And few trouble-making kids, if you know what I mean.

Everyone on the left was closer to the center just a decade ago. The Dems have lurched so far left over the past decade, it's hard to recognize them anymore. Many of them literally hate this country now. Unfortunately, Republicans too, have moved to the left, now standing mostly on the political ground occupied by Democrats just a few decades ago.

It shows how far away the Demonrat party has moved from rational, mainstream and logical thoughts and conclusions, and what is required of its adherents to say now. Just think that in another 12 years, what is said today is going to be considered “right wing” and “un-PC” by the deranged loons of 2031.

“Why do I keep seeing old quotes that I agree with made by him?”

Yesterday Fox was playing some old quotes by Nadler during the Clinton impeachment hearings that make perfect sense today. Now that the shoe is on the other foot...

I hope these hit the airwaves for all to see. Of course, they won’t.

In the Internet age, politicians have less ability to tailor their remarks to particular audiences, and expect those remarks not be seen by other audiences. Trump’s main strength is he says what he says to everyone.

This is a major reason why social media leftists want to purge conservatives, so we can’t point out inconvenient remarks to people.

Biden is a lot like Al Gore - both started out as moderate or even conservative on many issues by today's standards, then made a hard left turn, at least on social and cultural issues when the Democrats decided that they didn't need moderate or conservative voters anymore. For instance, it's certainly hard to believe that both Gore and Biden had A-ratings (I think) from the NRA a quarter of a century ago.

This was just Biden's clumsy way of getting to his point that the government needs to expand into pre-kindergarten education - impressively clumsy.
