The Department of Justice reacted defiantly to Democrats vote on the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday to recommend that Attorney General William Barr be held in contempt of Congress for refusing to release the full and underrated report of Special Counsel Robert Muellers investigation into Russian collusion during the 2016 election.
The Department of Justice was defiant, releasing a statement after the contempt vote that insisted: The Attorney General could not comply with the House Judiciary Committees subpoena without violating the law
Chairman Nadlers actions have prematurely terminated the accommodation process and forced the President to assert executive privilege to preserve the status quo. No one, including Chairman Nadler and his Committee, will force the Department of Justice to break the law.

Democrats are cowardly bullies.
Bullies don’t like it when someone stands up to them. Hurts their feelings.

Needler Nadler is now royally screwed.
If Needler takes this “constitutional crisis” to the courts, he will find that Congress cannot force the Attorney General to break the law that Congress itself passed concerning secrecy of Grand Jury testimony.

This is how to fight back. What Nadler wants is illegal and the DOJ just called him on it.

The Department of Justice reacted defiantly to Democrats vote on the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday to recommend that Attorney General William Barr be held in contempt of Congress for refusing to release the full and underrated unredacted report of Special Counsel Robert Muellers investigation into Russian collusion during the 2016 election. An egregious distortion in the very first sentence?

Barr should simply reply, The First Estate, the president, follows the laws, as I did. The second estate, just confirmed me. And wrote the laws that I followed. And the third estate, the courts, will confirm that I followed the laws. Every branch of government is behind me and my actions.

DOJ is correct. See FRCP 6e and McKeever v Barr.

No one needs to force them. They do so voluntarily.

“What Nadler wants is illegal”
DoJ should hold him in Contempt of the Law.
Just as a media stunt - like Nadler is doing with his, only based on truth instead of being a completely cynical fraud.

Where are the Republicans in the Senate. Why dont they subpoena Nadler for pressuring Barr to break the law? As usual, the Democrats play foul, and the Republicans, as a group, do nothing.

I am NOT tired of winning, but this one is just too easy.
The Democrats are on all fours, offering their butt for us to kick, while insulting our mama on mothers day.
Well, we can’t pass up the opportunity, but this one isn’t even a challenge.
Are they desperate? Are they stupid?
-Both I guess.
