If you’re enlisted and have something go wrong, you don’t really want to have to go to the doctor on base/post. If you’re a dependent family member and really, really need a doctor, you’d much rather go to a nonmilitary doctor. Because socialized medicine does not produce the most awesome doctors on the planet. The free market does.
We started to watch Rosewell and only got to about the 15 minute mark before we knew it was a no go.
