Actor and liberal activist George Clooney appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live Tuesday night to do a snotty takedown of the Trump administration and anyone who questions the left’s climate change agenda as "BLEEPING" idiots.”

Kimmel began his monologue fretting about a new alarmist climate change report from the United Nations saying that Earth was in the worst shape it's ever been, in human history. The left-wing talk show host sneered that the Trump administration has done “everything they can to do nothing about climate change,” and “just don't listen to scientists.” Not satisfied to just bash those in power, Kimmel went on to mock anyone who had questioned man-made climate change, even warning that these people were dangerous:

Well, I suppose besides pointing and laughing at these "X-spurts", give them credit for being well versed in 'fidiocy'. No doubt they got rousing applause at this. Who attends these crap fest shows anyway?

It’s quite fun to go on YouTube and find old clips of the Johnny Carson show. Rodney Dangerfield’s appearances are especially entertaining. Carson was a class act - I never saw him interject politics into anything. His show was always enjoyable to watch, and lots of people watched it.

Almost no one is watching today’s pompous Leftist hack late night hosts. I don’t care what they are doing or saying, and apparently neither do millions of viewers.

I especially like it when TCM shows vintage Carson shows. One of my favourites was when they showed one with Angie Dickinson from about 1980 and she was absolutely gorgeous (even though she wore a casual look with her jeans). I’ve always been curious as to how much of Carson’s shows were kept and which ones were trashed or taped over? IIRC, that was done to a fair bit of Jack Paar’s shows.

i don't and haven't in ... decades. Viewing has splintered as viewers have so many other options today. Thus, Kimmel Colbert et al must be more and more outrageous (read leftist) to hold on to the small audience segment available.

About 30 seconds of this “late night” crap that passes for a show & I change channels. I always tried to stay up & watch Carson & Leno tho; they were pretty good. Their replacements nowadays are certainly no reason not to sell your TV. Their “guests” are a joke, too.

Clooney majored in History and Political Science at Northern Kentucky University and briefly at the University of Cincinnati. He did not graduate from either institution. Before his acting career took off he held odd jobs such as selling men’s suits and cutting tobacco.
