Last week, the nation joined in a chorus of condemnation when a self-avowed white nationalist killed one woman and wounded three other worshippers at the Chabad of Poway, Calif. It was a senseless anti-Semitic hate crime that deserved to be condemned without reservation.
A week later, four Israelis, including one Bedouin, were killed and 10 others were wounded by rocket fire from Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists in Gaza that rained down on their streets, homes and places of work.
This time, many of the same voices that were so loud about Poway and the synagogue shooting in Pittsburgh last October were either muted or as in the case of Reps Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) and Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) actually rationalized and even defending these acts of terrorism.
Why the empathy deficit for Israelis?
While the circumstances are different, the motivation of those pulling the triggers or launching the missiles isnt. The contrast between the reaction to synagogue shootings in America and terrorist rocket barrages in Israel shows the common thread of anti-Semitic hate that links white nationalist murderers in the Untied States to Middle East terrorists and their American cheer squad.
To some on the left, while synagogue shootings are hate crimes, the murderous actions of Palestinian killers are an understandable part of a cycle of violence, for which Jews bear the larger share of the blame. In this view, Israelis are merely paying the price for their supposed oppression of Arabs.

For these two, its pure hatred and racism against the Jews. And the Democrat Party approves of this hatred and racism.
I recognize that some people hold this viewpoint.
Does the Left recognize that back when the KKK (a Democrat organization) was riding around lynching blacks, the KKK basically felt this way -- that, in effect, the blacks were just "getting what they deserved" for being uppity?
The Left has a long history of doing terrible things to innocent people. And they excuse their actions by saying "those folks deserved it".
We cannot co-exist with the Left.

They're murders, not "hate crimes". And for many the issue is that the victims are Jews, who bear blame irregardless of where they are. Israel is fashionable, killing Jews in the US isn't. Especially when it plays into the narrative of right wing hate. Ignore the fact that the killer hated Trump. For liking Jews.
Recalling th 2006 Seattle Jewish center shooting, one pregnant woman dead, five woman wounded. Not much media play, didn't occur to anyone to blame it on GWB. Don't believe there were any "hate crime" charges. The death penalty was off the table due to mitigating circumstances, his "mental health", Naveed Afzal Haq was a palestinian muslim after all, planning to kill Jews isn't a function of hate, just a mental disorder. First trial, hung jury. But he was convicted on the second.
Another instance of a non Jew, Bobby Kennedy murdered for his support of Israel. Don't hear much about the Jew hate of his palestinian killer, a Christian. Perhaps the media understands. Or perhaps they can't play the islamaphobia card.
700 rockets launched isn’t a terrorist attack, it’s a military strike.
If some civilians went down to the border and launched 700 missiles a day into Mexico would there be a military response against the US for refusing to stop the rocket volly?
“ve don’t know who dees peoples’ launching iz!!!”
I think we can all agree that these terrorist supporters hate Jews, and hate America. They ran for congress to elevate Islam, and that is the only reason they are there.
When we let third world people move in, we get third world government.
Which was the plan all along.
