More than half of Americans polled recently were in favor of vaccinating children against measles, even if it meant going against the parents’ wishes.

In a Reuters poll, more than 2,000 people were asked to give their opinions about getting vaccinated for the measles.

Advertisement It’s all in relation to the outbreak, which has confirmed 764 cases so far, that’s sweeping the nation.

Eighty-five percent of those polled completely agreed with vaccinating every single child unless there a medical reason not to, such as an allergy or otherwise life-threatening issue. Then 77% said children should get immunized even if the parents object to the vaccination.

According to Reuters, most Americans are in favor of the measles vaccination.

Regardless of how you feel about vaccines, you cannot deny that forced vaccination is un-American & violates the God-given rights of parents.

If this poll is true, the Republic is dead

I think it also exposes just how poor vaccinations work, if the vaccinated folks somehow are worried about catching something from the unvaccinated.

It also assumes that the sickness is always coming from the unvaccinated, which is a grossly bad assumption. Its been shown that many times the breakouts of something are caused by people getting the disease from the vaccines itself. Especially in third world places where the un is doing the vaccinations.

In a poll like this I would assume there’s a lot of ignorance about the subject. I agree that vaccinations should not be required, but that also means insurers should be able to deny coverage in cases where an un-vaccinated person gets sick.

Well, It's a hypothetical poll. And how are they defining force? Does force mean you can't register for school? Does it mean storm troopers with hypodermic needles at 4 am?

Meanwhile those with AIDS no longer have to disclose their status to potential sex partners and homosexuals can donate blood.

Would someone please tell me WHY measles is such a “really big deal” in 2019?? = All of the kids in my family had Red Measles, chicken pox, mumps & German Measles TOGETHER (My aunt was an RN, saw to it that we were all exposed & nursed us all at once, when we were kids.) about 1958-59.

Has measles (and those other childhood diseases of my boyhood) SUDDENLY become “deadly” OR is this more mass hysteria, that was caused by the “yellow press” & that LIES as often as they tell the whole truth??

Just curious, TMN78247

I think opposition to vaccination shows more that the country is dead.

Why aren’t these people question how measles, after pretty much being wiped out, have gotten prevalent again?

Perhaps from the flood of illegal aliens from 3rd world countries??

I agree but would add it also exposes the fundamental lack of ability to think independently on the part of the average person. People are so incredibly willing to swallow whatever the media parrots at them. Ask yourself WHY are we vaccinating newborns for Hep B, are measles, chickenpox etc RAALLY a public health crisis?, who stands to profit, etc etc. So many are running around like sky is falling over 700 measles cases. It’s really depressing to see what sheep we’ve become.

We wouldn’t have this if new cases weren’t brought in.

Let’s convince everyone they need vaccines by letting in illegals with measles! Yeah, that’s the plan!

Just read an article about un measles vaccination over in africa, and seferal of the docs took samples of it for testing to see what’s all in it,

and guess what.

They find a substance that causes sterilization of the person who gets the vaccine.

Its deliberately in there. Didn’t tell anyone it was in there, though.

I’m pro-vaccine and also comment about illegals. I just had 5th Disease after my son had it. You don’t see that much anymore. And I have many medical issues and nowadays, comment to doctors that I wonder about all the foreigners we’re around who keep going back to their hellholes

But the constitution require otherwise. Must have due process with notice and hearing. DUE PROCESS!! Let parents decide. There is evidence of AUTISM!! We dont run government by polling data!!

Several years ago there was a write up about Bill and Melinda Gates and their work in Africa...they were giving tons of women vaccines that caused sterilization. The women were never told that was the “side effect”. Can’t remember all the details but it was in a regular big name news source.

Frankly, I don’t KNOW if vaccinations cause common side-effects or NOT but what I do know is that the medical decisions of parents, concerning their own children, should trump the government’s opinions of what should (or MUST) be done with/TO their kids.

Further, a person’s religious beliefs (that directly harm nobody else) should end the government’s attempts to compel any otherwise lawful behavior.
(For example, a church that practices “snake handling” or uses “magic” mushrooms/peyote in their rituals should be LEFT ALONE to practice their faith, unmolested.)

Just my opinions, TMN78247

The Gates’ have also done this in india. also that in the case I recall, they were doing polio vaccines that cause thousands of girls and children to become infected with polio.

Just as the winner of the presidency is not determined by the popular vote, but by the number of electoral college votes they receive.
