I too absolutely believe Woods deserves the medal.
You know , there’s another ‘Woods’that also deserves this medal ....
Charles ‘Charlie’ Woods , the father of Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods (Benghazi)
I know Charlie and I can tell you he put up with an incredible raft of shit from BOTH Obama and Clinton . .They lied straight to his face , while his son lay in a flag draped coffin , mere feet away . They never apologized ,or got back to him in any way . And Charlie handled ALL of that with dignity , grace and true Christian poise . This needs to be remembered and acknowledged .

His foundation contributes to military causes as well as science, technology, engineering and math education for youth.

I am surprised that Tiger's foundation was not mentioned more during the ceremony. It has provided academic support in STEM studies for more than 165,000 young people in its 20 year history.

I am a golf fan, but was not a Tiger fan in his prime, because I don't like the same person to win so often. After he went down so far in his athletic prowess due to injuries and in his personal life due to his own behavior, he pulled himself back up to very high levels. He is a different person than he was before all of this, humble and friendly. He has shown his resiliency and determination in a major way. Most Amricans believe in second chances.

I believe the key to Tiger Woods is not Earl but Tida. I’m glad to see her emerge in the public eye. The networks played up the post masters hug between Tiger and his young son. I was more gratified watching Tiger hug his mom.

Tida Woods was his spiritual force. He is still Bhuddist. He has just signed to participate in an asian tour. to me this is a sign that he has fully embraced his ancestry and wants to impact asian golf the way blacks in America demanded that he impact black American youth.

The fact that Tiger was filmed and photographed golfing with President Trump and that he had the courage to accept the medal of freedom from Trump indicated to me that Tiger has more to his character than we were led to believe. Predictably, the left took to social media to criticize him for accepting the medal from Trump. Contrast Tiger’s behavior with that of athletes in other sports.

Tiger is quietly sending the message of individual freedom that President Donald Trump has embraced. This is his message by example that we do not have to be slaves to identity groups and the politically correct collective. This is truly Tiger’s redemption.
