The bigger question is this also related to PDJT's hardball with the ChiCom's given they are now the dominate Battery supplier at this moment for EV's, something like 60%? Is this a desire to keep the big three relevant and not reliant on the ChiCom's and give them a stable product / supplier base and not be beholden to them as we head into 2020? I ask that. The big growth is coming in nickel and cobalt as the next generation batteries will favor these over lithium. There is plenty of both metals in north america.
