Sen. Mitt Romney wants special counsel Robert Mueller to testify before Congress, breaking with fellow Republicans who want to move on after Mueller delivered his report that found attempts by President Donald Trump to derail the investigation but didn’t seek charges against him for obstruction of justice.
“I’d like to hear from Mr. Mueller; I think a lot of people would like to hear his perspective on the report he put out and the conclusions he reached,” Romney told reporters at the Capitol on Thursday.
The Utah Republican, who had said he was “sickened” by Mueller’s findings about the president and his team, wasn’t sure what form such a hearing with the special counsel would entail but that it was important for the public to hear directly from the lead investigator.
“I don’t know what the right process is for us to be able to hear from him," Romney said, “but I think a lot of us would like to hear his take.”

If Mueller is completely honest, and if the Republicans on whatever committee ask the right questions, Mitt ain’t gonna like what he hears.

Robert Mueller, UNDER OATH. might be good if certain Republicans can ask certain questions. Taking the 5th would be extremely funny.
Frankly I don’t get hat Romney or anyone else expects Mueller to say that wasn’t in his report OR wasn’t in the phone call he had with Mueller which was memorialised by Barr and released by spoken of by Barr when he spoke before the Senate.
Despite what the House lib said on TV today I’m not so sure Mueller will agree to appear as it was suggested he would. He has nothing to gain and a bunch to lose because the Republicans get to ask him all sorts of questions relating to the phony dossier and other things he never mentions in the report despite 2.5 yrs of investigating.
