Andrew Napolitano and I were on the same campus for 3 years between 1972-1975. I was an undergraduate at Notre Dame when he was in law school there.

I don’t know the Judge, but I like him and he should be able to call them as he sees them. I like Donald Trump too, and think he is the best thing that has ever happened to Washington. I wish the two guys could shake hands and agree that both of them have the best interests of the country at heart.

Napolitano was rejected by Trump for SCOTUS.
Nappy is vindictive and can not forget.

I wouldn’t say nappy has the best interests of the country in mind when he spews the liberal talking points. His analysis is ALWAYS wrong.

Used to like him somewhere something changed. PDJT is more important than Nap at this point. Nap joined the swamp. Equivocation as you are doing is silly.

Right ... like Churchill and Hitler should have shaken hands and agreed that both of them had the best interests of Europe at heart. Some things are just NOT RECONCILABLE!

We could use that among a lot of FReepers, too.

Sorry, you just haven’t been paying attention or are a Democrat. Nap has been hysterically partisan against POTUS baselessly smearing him day after day in support of the Democrat party.

This isn’t the Bush administration. If you want a POTUS to be nice to the very enemies that are out to destroy him, then please go campaign for Jeb in 2020.

my personnel views on things like the supream court is that you never give it to some one that campaigns for it. I just don’t trust those who seek power. the fact that he asked personally for the nomination and when rebuked by the president took it to him self to use his media platform to attack tells me we are lucky that he did not end up there. I am guessing we have no idea what his real position on constitutional issues because he was looking to get nominated. also the guy has not been a judge or active in acidemia law for over 20 years instead he has been a talking head.. he is entertainer using his law degree..

On what basis do you like him???

He is wrong on the law. His “sources” have never proved correct. He blisters about all sorts of stuff he doesn’t understand.

You don’t know him personally.

His TDS is enough to make me dislike him as dishonest

For several years now Napolitano has been behaving as if he has been blackmailed. It’s just way too different from how he used to be, and in too short a time, to be a natural change.
