Mueller is a deep-state war horse brought out pasture for a kamikaze mission against Trump. He knew very early on there was no collusion. His whole game was finding “obstruction.” That’s not justice. That abuse of process.
Sessions is either very stupid, or very treacherous. His nonsense “recusal” immediately after becoming AG left Trump’s flanks open to an absolutely corrupt DOJ bureaucracy. He had to know this.
The DOJ/FBI should never, ever be called “professionals” or “objective.” Its a bullshit slogan and lie they tell the public. Any conservative President should fire the entire HQ of both organizations on his first day in office.

Interesting read. Defense is a lot easier if your client didn’t do anything wrong. Trump’s lawyers found themselves in that (all too) unique situation and they played it pretty well. There were plenty of chances to screw it up, but they ultimately won.... So far.

Fascinating indeed! That’s the first word that came to mind upon conclusion. Trump’s legal team deserves all the credit on this one. Barr is quite the legal mind and there is no doubt Mueller was planning to devour Sessions.
