A former top aide to Hillary Clinton said it was not part of his "job" to think about her emails.
Jacob Sullivan participated in a deposition this month, part of a court-ordered discovery related to Clintons use of an unauthorized email server during her time as secretary of state. A federal judge ruled that several Obama administration officials would have to answer conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch's questions about whether Clinton intentionally attempted to evade the Freedom of Information Act by using a nongovernment email system.

"Like Secretary Clinton has said herself, I wish she had used a State Department account," Sullivan said on April 19, according to a transcript. "It wasn't really part of my job to be thinking about Secretary Clinton's emails so I don't think I sort of fell down directly in my job, but do I wish I had thought of it during the time we were at state. Of course. I mean, what human being at this point wouldn't have thought of that?"

Uh, oh. Will the judge fall for it?
The old “I’m not a criminal, I’m just stupid” defense.
Sullivan: “My job was to resupply the vodka and clean up the broken glass after her angry tirades. Nothing at all to do with emails.”
If he had a security clearance, then he was personally responsible for the proper handling of all sensitive information, no matter what his boss commanded him to do, except if his boss was the President. Thankfully, Hillary Clinton was not President, and never will be.
This helps build the plausible deniability defense for Hillary. If the people who should have known didn’t speak up to her about it then that will allow her to claim that her staff let her down and blame them.

....but it was already dead....”

She knew exactly what she was doing. She was the one who set up a server in her own home.
Yes and he would have been read-in extensively on the protocols and consequences of violating the laws regarding classified documents and using unsecured communications channels. Part of that would have been his duty to report any violations he was aware of.
Throw this criminal bum in prison!
It was, in fact, his job, as per security requirements, and he would have had to sign his name to that understanding.
He could be facing prison time because his failure to report a crime like that is a crime. He’s probably more useful as someone to sweat and drop a dime on bigger players though.
Leftists always want the credit for the good things without the blame for the bad; all the rights without any of the responsibilities.
The whole stinking lot of them should be in jail or worse.
Hey its the infamous no intent or something....
Her staff may have the last laugh.
“yeah, you want to stick us with these crimes?”
That is to say, its a defense that I wouldnt buy if I were on a jury!

Chris Plante says this at least 1x everyday...to his audience’s delight.
