The guy has long been an open-borders, free-trade, Chamber of Commerce stooge. Turns out he’s been a political hack for years ... he just changes his policies depending on who is paying his bills.
I got into a nasty email fight with him right after 9/11 when he insisted the borders remain open. You’re correct....he’s like water & will take on the form he needs to be around power.
