Personally, I think the whole idea of a swimsuit issue completely destroyed SI’s credibility as a SPORTS magazine.

First swimsuit issue was in 1964, 55 years ago.

I wonder if SI publishes the sales figures for the swimsuit issue both in comparison to other issues and annually over time. I suspect that the distribution numbers are in decline and this one won’t help bolster their figures.

I'll be an outlier here. Repugnant was "Caitlyn" Jenner on the cover a few years back.

I'm okay with a woman looking attractive in a swim suit that is within her cultural norms and she can actually swim in it. Muslim women going to the beach and interacting with US women is a positive thing. This model's outfit is just fine.

Back in the 1960s I worked two summers at a private community pool. Once a week, there was a private evening swim for Muslim women and nuns, both groups having restrictions on how much skin they could show. They wore swim dresses, and as lifeguard I wore one too. Honestly, mine was a really attractive bathing suit while being discrete, and quite practical for swimming and diving.

The burqa is theological in nature. Muslins believe men are pure and women are in the employ of Satan. Women are able to ply demonic influence on men with their alluring bodies, so the muslin solution is to cover them up.

This is why muslin men blame the woman for rape or harassment; it’s her fault for beguiling the man and making him think dirty thoughts.

Exactly right. The burka and burkini are SLAVE SUITS.
