JUST IN: A Virginia judge in Charlottesville has ruled that the Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson statues in the city are Civil War Memorials and protected by law

Finally some sanity against the onslaught of PC.
They lose their sh*t over statues of great Generals like Lee, yet they have no problem with a giant statue of Hillarys mentor Robert "Sheets" Byrd in the nations Capital which surprise, they have a black man clean. KKK recruiter and Civil rights opponent Sen. Robert Byrd who was still serving in the Senate as late as 2010. THAT is OK. Hypocrisy IS the religion of the left.
The building of these monuments was encouraged by President McKinley in the late 1800s and federal government policy at the time to help heal the wounds of the Civil War. The philosophy was that both sides’ veterans should be honored equally. There’s a Confederate Memorial in Arlington.
Doesn’t relate to Jim Crow.
Check out every New England town. It also will have its Civil War monument to correspond with the ones in Southern towns.
