Around 71% of the research funding for over $68 billion is from Uncle Sugar and the Peli grants are over $30 billion annually.

And I have a daughter who is a UVA grad...thankfully a conservative and the opposite of a snob....but UVA is the only school in VA where she could get a degree in Linguistics to work with Wycliffe Bible Translators.....

As a Hokie, I have no use for the Cavaliers but it is likely, given the faculty at UVA, that the University told the team they weren’t going to the White House.
