I hate to say this on Free Republic, but this is simply the Male Sex Drive at work. Men like sex, and power, and most of them hate women at some level (even on here. Especially on here.) This is the outcome. This is why Islam is so successful at recruiting, this is why wives were essentially property even in our own culture in the past: this is the world that the male sex drive creates.
I disagree. It is life in a "God-free zone" where everyone thinks there is no God, so "I" must be my own God, therefore I can do whatever I can get away with.
In the case of Islam, it is mistaking Satan for Allah.

I can’t say what kind of men you associate with, but I would venture to say that most men I know (and I am one of them) do not find 13 year olds sexually attractive and furthermore if they saw an adult raping a 13 year old would do their very best to tear him apart limb by limb.
You do know that my "I'd hit it" stuff is performance art. I even tried to quit it in 2005 but there was an uproar. So, I give the public what they want. In real life, I'm quite selective, almost to the point of celibacy.

Hate is a strong word, but I do have some resentment. I've been treated poorly by the fairer sex. Perhaps I should look to myself for the reason.
I’m sorry I politely disagree...this is what a sinful nature causes and a sinful nature allowed to bloom and prosper progresses down this patch. There are women who participate in this evil...women who sell children, women who beat children and imprison children. God created that sex drive for good and Satan, when he is allowed, takes it, twists it and destroys with it. In itself there is NOTHING wrong with a males sex drive.
Oh, please. The male sex drive plays a part in a lot of things (men cheating on their wives, gay men having so many sexual partners, most child molesters being male, etc.), but to suggest that this story is all about men being pigs and that most men hate women is just misandrist BS.
I’m glad to see someone other than myself pointing this out. Yup, this is the horrible price being paid BY CHILDREN so that men can have a warm wet spot to stick it into.

As for your contention that “most of them hate women at some level” all I can say is that I was always a perfect gentleman to every woman I ever dated.
But after literally decades of rejection, one becomes cautious and somewhat bitter. Being “friend zoned” is just a cowardly substitute for a flat rejection. Actually, I would rather part with my erstwhile romantic interests on bad terms — at least it’s more honest.
“You’re such a nice guy and you’ll find someone someday,” is just a mealy mouthed way of saying “You’re a nice guy but I still think I’m too good for you.”
And no, I’m not deformed, demented, or destitute. Just a regular guy, although decidedly on the scholarly side, which I suppose is a turnoff for many women. That and the fact that I’m not rich, although I have few complaints about my standard of living — own my house, no debts, plenty of books, and a good cigar now and then.

The male sex drive (and the female sex drive) was created by the LORD but perverted by Satan and man in this world that was broken when Adam didn’t straighten Eve out about the forbidden fruit. Sinful mankind, INCLUDING WOMEN, sin, allowing Satan, who has already lost the fight between good and evil, to spoil as much as he can until the time he is banished to the lake of fire forever.

There is truth in what you say, but it is far from the whole truth.
It is also true that many, many males throughout history have channeled those drives into protecting women and children.
Women are the weaker sex, and need to be so protected. That is a truth that many, including conservatives and Christians, no longer accept.
