French wants to pretend that we overlooked John the Apostle on the ballot. Our choice was Trump or a Democrat party that had declared war on everything Christian.
Trump's no saint, or would even make a good Sunday school teacher. We elected him not for spiritual guidance, but to be our mercenary against the atheist hoards trying to overtake us. He's not our pastor, but the sentry outside our women's restrooms keeping out the men who Dims claim are all evil sex predators anyway. He's not our counselor, but our Charles Martel fighting back against the jihadist invaders.

French wants to pretend that we overlooked John the Apostle on the ballot. Interestingly, Jesus Christ Himself "overlooked John the Apostle on the ballot."
John was the most beloved of the Apostles. His faith was so genuine and strong that he was the only Apostle not to die a martyr's death.
And yet when Jesus Christ wanted one of His Apostles to become "the Rock upon which I will build My Church," he picked Simon Peter -- perhaps the most flawed, imperfect Apostle of them all.
