Libertarians are effectively opinionated, counterproductive assholes as far as small-gov, conservatism goes.

Yes they do. Unfortunately, they are tarred by the large L brush. That’s just so wrong. I’m an Independent, but had to switch to R for the election as well.
If a Libertarian ever actually got elected to any office, they would be clueless on how to govern. Ever talked to one? They are more interested in the purity of their debate than actually advancing their agenda.
