The president has been exonerated on allegations of Russian collusion, and now, as investigators and the media pick up the pieces on the long-running hoax, more attention has turned to the major players behind the operation, including former CIA chief and current NBC “analyst” John Brennan, who played an integral role in the launch of the unprecedented surveillance operation — and the smear campaign thereafter — against the president, members of the Trump campaign, and Trump-connected individuals.
Brennan’s personal role in the Trump-Russia collusion saga dates back to at least the summer of 2016 (and perhaps even earlier) when he met with a top British intelligence chief to discuss Trump’s supposed ties to the Russians. Around the time of that meeting, and following its conclusion, American and foreign spies began to make contact with members of the Trump campaign, with some claiming to have access to Russian secrets involving the Hillary Clinton campaign. Brennan later seemed to take credit and defend the espionage operation, which again, relied on the dossier to legitimize spying on Americans.
Brennan, as CIA director, reportedly inserted the Clinton-funded-and-manufactured Steele dossier into a draft version of the highly scandalous Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) on Russian interference, which was published under the auspices of Donald Trump’s political opponents in early January 2017, just two weeks before President-elect Trump took office.
In March, citing a “high-level source,” Sen. Rand Paul said that Brennan “insisted that the unverified and fake Steele dossier” be included in the ICA.

“Testify under oath?” What’s the point? He has perjured himself before and nothing was done about it. Why waste your time if every deep state jackass is immune form the law?
I’m not going to look at the Bob Woodward video, but...
Could somebody explain to me WHEN Woodward arrived at the conclusion that the dossier was garbage? Was it during the Mueller investigation, or before the investigation got underway, or AFTER the Mueller investigation was concluded? It’s easy to arrive at a conclusion after the fact. Why didn’t he speak up before or during the investigation?
Now Woodward is saying the Putin was behind the Steele “dossier.”
Got to keep covering for Hillary if he doesn’t want to be Arkancided.
If Brennan and Clapper and Hillary and Comey and Obama and Strzoc and the DNC and the many others who colluded to frame Trump are not investigated and punished, with hefty prison terms, then, it will be a license for others to do it again, but with more care the next time.
Crimes that are not punished only invite more of the same.
Why is it that Seymour Hersh, knew this from the very beginning. He is a liberal journalist in Washington; a Washington insider. Seymour said the Russian story was hatched by John Brennan and Seth Rich downloaded the emails from the DNC.
If he knew this all along, than so did the Senators, congressmen and the intelligence community.
I can NOT believe he hasn’t been arrested and charged with sedition and/or treason.
Hanging would be good for this traitor. Publicly.
Hillary being the number one example.
I’m confident it will become clear that he was/is a rat, scumbag, unethical sob, etc. But none of that is criminal. Lying isn’t a crime unless you do it under oath or to obstruct. Etc. He did all kinds of evil stuff but unless there is a solid legal case to he made, his punishment may not come in this life. Plus, his job gave him a lot of wiggle-room.
Maybe in time some of the people who have really been hurt by this hoax can go after some of these lying creeps civilly.
Brennan should be tied to a wheelchair and a grenade duct taped to in his mouth and then rolled off the Grand Canyon.
Brennan is also a Muslim convert, something that has never been publicly discussed.
The point is half the country will never trust the FBI, DOJ or our
intel agencies.
Those responsible must be held criminally accountable. Period.
We will have to see what the future holds.
