What did the perp's family know and when did they know it. More importantly, what did the perp's family do about what they knew.
Per my above link, the perp worked/s for something called the Western Region Defense Contractors Audit Agency, headquartered in Virginia, as an auditor in the Sunnyvale area, and that the perp remains an active employee.

Let’s just say that the article makes me wonder what the family knew when, and what if anything they did about it. Also, the perp’s dad is a pastor? What kind of pastor? Also leaves me wondering what the perp’s employer knew.
This case needs way more investigating and reportage, but I suspect the story will disappear down a memory hole shortly.
I hope the vics have some good civil attorneys on speed dial.
