Pelosi would do that deal but since she has lost control of her caucus the House will push to impeach. The President has so triggered the progs that the only thing they will accept is impeachment.
The president is in a sweet spot. He can pound the Democrats for ignoring the issues and only investigating even after Mueller came up empty handed. Use the bully pupit to demand legislation to address immigration, jobs, health care, hell even demand protection for election security, student loans and private enterprise answers for climate change if you wanna watch liberal heads explode. If Judicial Watch, Barr and Huber come up with dirt on obama, hillary and their posse 2020 is looking good.
