I used to be a Boy Scout. I was not a good Boy Scout, but for at least four years it was part of my life, and I appreciated what I learned from it, and the experiences that I had.
I would occasionally support it with money.
But when they went all in on full acceptance of homosexuality, that was it for me. No more.
What makes this all the more bitter is that this is EXACTLY what the Left had in mind when pressuring the BSA to fully accept open homosexuality.
They KNEW it was a poison pill. They knew the host of abuse lawsuits that would ensue. It was a win-win for them. They get more acceptance and endorsement of open homosexuality, and at the same time, destroy a male-only organization.
Never mind it was a constructive organization that taught many life skills to boys that would serve them and society well as they grew into men. That was far less important than advancing homosexuality, and destroying a “male patriarchy” and making men even weaker in the end.
They managed to destroy marriage, fathers in children’s lives, and the BSA.
How I despise the Left and all they stand for.

Yes, the Boy Scouts of America was such an entity. That's WHY the left destroyed it.
TO be fair, these are not lawsuits based on the current crop of homosexual leaders abusing boys, it is about abuse that happened long ago, before the BSA realized that the homosexual community was using them as a training ground, recruiting tool, and a sex organization.
Once that happened, they started instituting the two-person rules and severely restricting the ability of any male leader being alone with any unrelated boy.
But now they will be sued for not being proactive enough to recognize what was happening 50 years ago, and also for reacting to it poorly, usually by simply dismissing the leaders, allowing them to move on to other troops and more victims.
