Mueller report contains claim Russia taped Bill Clinton having phone sex with Monica Lewinsky
Washington Examiner ^ | April 23, 2019

Special counsel Robert Mueller’s report mentions a claim that Russians recorded President Bill Clinton having phone sex with White House intern Monica Lewinsky — but the reference was redacted from the version released to the public.

The redaction is likely to anger Republicans, because the allegation has been known since at least 2001 and the Mueller report's reference to a claim that President Trump watched prostitutes urinating in a Moscow hotel room was not struck out.

Clinton allegedly was recorded by Russia in the 1990s, allowing Russia to learn of the affair before American officials. A reference to the Clinton intercept was redacted from the Mueller report to protect “personal privacy,” but sources told the Washington Examiner that the context makes clear what was blacked out.

Clinton and intelligence gathering. Hard to keep that in the same sentence.

Besides, what he did with her is no one’s business. The crime was his lying about it under oath. Lying about anything under oath is perjury which is defined as the offense of willfully telling an untruth after having taken an oath or affirmation. So does the sex mean anything? Nope. (Unless you’re a conservative president like in the Trump/Daniels thing.)

“That is one tape I most definitely do not want to hear. Besides, Bubba sounds like he’s having phone sex in pretty much every political rally speech he gives.”

(I know, that’s sick)

The Russians bugged the phone? How insecure is the White House? I remember that crazy lady that recorded Trump in his office. It was crystal clear. No tape recorder would be that clear.

I thought it was Linda Tripp who had the audio tapes.

She had tapes of her conversations with Lewinsky. Not the actual phone sex tapes. The U.S. might still not have them. Clinton is still probably subject to blackmail from them.

If the Russians heard that, then the russians heard everything.

Not necessarily. Lewinsky’s phone was not at all secured.

This was one of the other issues with Clinton’s behavior: he smashed down security protocols meant to protect the President, in order to gain himself freer access to women - including leaving Lewinsky alone in the Oval Office where she was able to take letters sent by foreign leaders.

The crime was his lying about it under oath.

It wasn’t just that. He committed dozens of crimes in a multitude of areas, including directing government jobs to be given to those who agreed to have sex with him, as well as using his office to punish those who declined.

The impeachment of Bill Clinton was initiated in December 1998 by the House of Representatives and led to a trial in the Senate on two charges, one of perjury and one of obstruction of justice. These charges stemmed from a sexual harassment lawsuit filed against Clinton by Paula Jones. Clinton was subsequently acquitted of these charges by the Senate on February 12, 1999. Two other impeachment articles a second perjury charge and a charge of abuse of power failed in the House.

However, Clinton gave a sworn deposition on January 17, 1998, where he denied having a “sexual relationship”, “sexual affair” or “sexual relations” with Lewinsky. He also denied that he was ever alone with her. His lawyer, Robert S. Bennett, stated with Clinton present that Lewinsky’s affidavit showed that there was no sex in any manner, shape or form between Clinton and Lewinsky. The Starr Report states that the following day, Clinton “coached” his secretary Betty Currie into repeating his denials should she be called to testify.

After rumors of the scandal reached the news, Clinton publicly stated, “I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky.”[3] Months later, Clinton admitted that his relationship with Lewinsky was “wrong” and “not appropriate”. Lewinsky engaged in oral sex with Clinton several times.

Article I charged that Clinton lied to the grand jury concerning the nature and details of his relationship with Lewinsky:

prior false statements he made in the Jones deposition,
prior false statements he allowed his lawyer to make, characterizing Lewinsky’s affidavit,
his attempts to tamper with witnesses.

Article III charged Clinton with attempting to obstruct justice in the Jones case by:

encouraging Lewinsky to file a false affidavit,
encouraging Lewinsky to give false testimony if and when she was called to testify,
concealing gifts he had given to Lewinsky that had been subpoenaed,
attempting to secure a job for Lewinsky to influence her testimony,
permitting his lawyer to make false statements, characterizing Lewinsky’s affidavit,
attempting to tamper with the possible testimony of his secretary Betty Curie,
making false and misleading statements to potential grand jury witnesses.

As for the Paula Jones case: After Jones appealed, Clinton agreed in November 1998 to settle the case for $850,000 while still admitting no wrongdoing.

So what is he paying for?

You are right he did a lot of things, some far worse than anyone can imagine. I was working for the federal government from 1968 till 1995 either military, department of the army (OSI) and the department of defense tied to CID information and training for counter intelligence of terrorist weapons and tactics. That span in the nineties was a wilder ride than you can guess at. But there’s no way anyone is going to print and prove it. So it would be a mute point(s).

Reminds me of an old Russian bawdy drinking song.

“He f—ked her once and he f__ked her twice
He f__ked once to often,
He broke the main spring in her c—t,
And now she’s in her coffin!”

If you believe ANYTHING in the Steele dossier or as reported by Mueller, then you have a bridge you can buy in New York.
