Well I guess some “Public Safety Officer” that runs the Parking Spots on Main Street in Downtown Mooresville will have to find a “Real” Job here soon.
Careful what you wish for. Marking tire is common in small downtowns. In order to have free parking for customers there needs to be a time limit (2 to 4 hours is normal). Otherwise the free spots get filled up with employees or apartment dwellers. The alternative is to have paid parking meters.
We have a guy called “Ticket Ted” who spends all day walking the downtown area chalking and writing tickets. He’s in better shape than any of the cops.
