Canada: Taxpayer-funded CBC puts jihad murderer Omar Khadr on its Easter Sunday show
Canadian pundit Spencer Fernando calls this “disgusting,” and it is, but it is no surprise. It has been clear for years which side the establishment media is on. It is not on the side of the people in the nations where it operates. It is not on the side of the victims or foes of jihad terror. It would have been far more surprising if the CBC had featured someone who stands up against jihad terror and Sharia oppression of women and others. But if it had done that, there would have been much more of an outcry than there has been in this case: CBC would have been inundated with charges of “Islamophobia.” Such is the moral inversion of today’s public debate.

An appalling slap in the face to the Canadian People.
The argument for defunding CBC got another justification, as the forcibly taxpayer-funded CBC invited Omar Khadr onto their Easter Sunday show.
Khadr was featured on Tout le monde en parle, a show funded by the Quebec division of CBC.

Omar Khadr already got $10.5 million in taxpayer dollars, and now the government controlled CBC is using our tax dollars to put him on TV in front of a cheering audience?
The timing is also horrendous.
CBC put him on TV on Easter Sunday, and even after the Sri Lanka terror attacks against Christians, still decided to run the segment.
So, not only did they fail to have the common sense to not invite him in the first place, but they couldn’t even show the most basic and minimal respect to Canadian Christians by cancelling the segment
Canada is a mission field.
Oh Canada...

The CBC needs to be sold off and privatized. The radio version should be maintained, because for the most part, that’s just people reading the news, comedy shows and other such nonsense. CBC News world and television need to be either sold or eliminated. Their constant defense of Trudeau from all the news that’s fit to print, but won’t be on the CBC is their final straw. They won’t go down without a fight, but they will go down. The Liberals are looking at a massive defeat in October and the first thing on Scheer’s agenda should be the CBC’s demise as a taxpayer funded propaganda machine for the Liberal party of Canada.
Imagine PBS/NPR but without any talent.

The “Quebec division” of the CBC is French-language Radio-Canada, which is virtually autonomous.
Toronto CBC is run by Liberal hacks and staffed by socialists and SJWs; Montreal RadIo-Canada is run by Liberal hacks and staffed by communists and FLQ.

Won’t be taking my grandchildren to Canada during the rest of my life. Their father and uncle are both veterans of Iraq (and the father, Kosovo). Great grandfather fought on Iwo Jima. Stepgrandfather was a pro-US journalist in Vietnam and Cambodia.
They know right from wrong, smart from stupid, and treachery from doing what is right, and as for treason, there is no question that they believe traitors and their helpers should be jailed for life, or shot.
