The Next George Bush Bet Everything on Trump
The Atlantic ^ | April 18, 2019 | Elaina Plott

George prescott bush wants you to know that he is not low-energy.

At least, that’s the distinct impression I got when I encountered Bush, the elder son of Jeb and leading repository for the hopes of an endangered political dynasty, one January morning at a CrossFit gym in Austin, Texas.

The day before, Bush had switched up our meeting place from a barbecue joint, where we were supposed to have lunch, to the gym, where I assumed we would exercise. But when I showed up at the appointed time in hastily acquired workout garb, Bush, who was lifting a heavy object, looked at me like I was an alien.

This country is a republic, not a monarchy. Why is it people are so desperate to be ruled by dynasties?

The Atlantic likes Bush because he cannot win. The Bushs have had their moment in the sun. Goodbye and good riddance.

“Come and Take It” G. Pee thinks it means Mexico to come take back Texas. That little twerp didn’t know where his Land Commissioner Office was the first year in office due to him tagging around on Jeb’s campaign. Of course, he still cashed his paychecks.

There’s not going to be a “NEXT” George Bush. The last George Bush was the LAST George Bush.

Agreed. I don’t think the American people are in a mood to elect anyone named Bush or Clinton ever again.

Jeb having to spend $50 million per delegate did not drive that point home apparently.

Amen. Never falling for their BS again. Shame if one of them is actually good and would make a great leader but as an American President once said “fool me once, shame on you. Fool me ... can’t get fooled again.”

Democrats May play the next in line kingmaker game but I think today conservatives want real life experience non establishment leaders.

George P. Bush is just another Bush league Republicans hell bent on completing the Bush Plan for North Mexico dreamed up by his grandfather.

George P. Bush was born a Mexican national because of his Mexican national mother and is likely the real reason the GOP went along with the Kenyanesian Usurpation.

The Bushes are NOT good people.
Good people betray the citizens with a 30 year policy of non-enforcement that results in 30 million illegal aliens and 100’s of dead Americans.

Good people do not leave the borders open after an attack like 9/11 so more terrorists can enter the country.

Good people do not jail Border Patrol doing their jobs.

P is a uniParty trojan horse.

He gets to hide down ballot and take advantage of lazy voters pulling the auto straight ticket lever. Straight ticket voting lets a lot of down-ballot scum sneak by and build bases for higher office that they could never attain if they had gotten early scrutiny.

Give it at least a century before we take a chance on another George Bush as president. They can run for county commissioner, dogcatcher, governor, etc.

But no more presidents. That goes for the Clinton and Obama clans as well.

“...while the Bush’s are good people they should never be allowed to govern again”

Have to disagree, they are NOT good people! They are globalists who love the UN and both of whom, as presidents, got us into wars we didn’t need to be in. Furthermore, neither of them addressed illegal immigration, setting the stage for the conflagration on our southern border today. THEY ARE NOT GOOD PEOPLE!
They have always considered the rest of us “the help.”

At one time, I thought George W. Bush was a great president. I drank the Kool-Aid and defended him every time I could. Man, was I so very wrong!
