This is very shallow, but I was shocked at how disheveled her hair was & her greasy smudged glasses. That freaked me out. It made her seem very off.

The voice and the clothes and the disheveled hair was all intentionally foisted on her to create a pathetic victim look.

The whole exercise was shallow and designed to make house fraus and simpletons buy her preposterous story. It worked perfectly on the target audience.
