Her “influence” was short lived and ineffectual. She was a tool of the left in a failed attempt to attack Trump and his ability to appoint mainstream conservative Justices. Ford was a “flash in the pan”, or a “one hit wonder”, whose only hit never made it to gold. She has done more to steel republicans and speed up the confirmation process than stop Trump.
Kavanaugh, on the other hand is now one of nine Justices serving a lifetime appointment on the nation’s highest court. His influence is powerful, lasting, and directly impacts every citizen of the United States, and indirectly, billions of people around the globe.
But, duh, Me Too!
The whole exercise was shallow and designed to make house fraus and simpletons buy her preposterous story. It worked perfectly on the target audience.
“Civic duty, my a$$!” She was a high school slut who messed with some one that could have been, but was not, the man she accused of putting a move on her.
Slut city, Blasey, for sure!
Yep.
What is Blasey influencing today?
And Kavanaugh? Oh yeah. He has a lifetime appointment on the SCOTUS!
But does Time Magazine, itself, “influence” more than 100 people?
Blowsey Fraud should be on the parolee list
These people spew lies and nonsense without any consideration of the truth. Nobody tried to silence Ford she was given a hearing and platform on one of the biggest stages possible. What they did do was try to get to the bottom of her allegations. Turns out she may be able to defeat a lie detector but was detected as lying by those with any common sense.
Now that she’s come out of her hole does that mean six more weeks of winter or something?
In my many years I have met women who were raped. Their descriptions were so filled with emotion that it almost broke my heart to hear their recollections. Nobody could make up stories like that. One friend was telling me about her attack and was almost in tears telling me ( in reference to Ford ) “women don’t make up things like this.” She was so upset that I couldn’t bring myself to tell her that many rapes are false reports.
Ford’s testimony had all of the passion of a Senator reading a phone book out loud during a filibuster. Complete and utter BS. To me the subtext of her testimony was “I sure hope this performance is good enough to get the payday I was promised.”
