When you live in a heavily “diverse” liberal paradise where they self-consciously and self-righteously do anything, conservative is most definitely the counter-culture.

Upon more reflection - think I disagree with this young man’s opinion that conservatism being odd is new - since I can remember paying attention (late 80’s early 90’s) conservative/libertarian views have always been counter mainstream culture (hollywood, academia, music, and news media. - also wish he did not use ‘Purtanism’ is a perjurative manner. Understandably - he has no understanding of Puritans.
