Not surprised by her answers. It’s usual DemocRAT pablum - intellectual pap.

I think what happened was Pelosi jumped to the defense of a fellow RAT - knee-jerk reaction, then learned the details of what Omar said later.

I actually think, after learning the details, Pelosi believes that what Omar said was over-the-top, with definitely negative political impact on the RAT Party. Of course, she can’t say that, so she instead goes and attacks Trump - Pelosi’s smokescreen.

Was Pelosi embarrassed by what Omar said? I doubt it, but I’d wager that her reaction instead was anger at what the little Jihadi’s doing to RAT prospects. Don’t forget, you may think Pelosi is stupid, but she’s still a politically savvy force to be reckoned with.

She’s continuing to ponder what to do with the Three Moronic Musketeers. Her task isn’t easy due to their popularity with the SJW kiddies.

What’s most frightening is that Omar and Pelosi are very representative of their constituents.

I agree with Nancy. There is not “taint” of antisemitism in the Democrat Party. There is however, an overarching stench. Let's start with Obama and the 2005 photo with Farrakhan that was hidden during both of Obama’s campaigns. Next, let's look at Obama’s 20 year membership in Rev. Wright's church. Next, let's look at the numerous interactions between the Congressional Black Caucus and Farrakhan. Next, let's look at the total silence by the Democrats to the recent statement by Farrakhan that he is the Messiah and that his goal is to end the existence of Jewish civilization; something he believes Jesus failed to do more than 2000 years ago. Next, let's look at the statements made by Omar when she was in the Minnesota Legislature, including her comment that Israel was evil and had hypnotized the world. Of course, this was followed by her comments about AIPAC buying Congress, and by the slur of dual allegiance to Israel by Jewish-Americans. Finally, Omar's speech at the CAIR gathering - a speech to an organization founded by leaders of Hamas, and an unindicted co-conspirator in a terror funding case in which money was funneled to Hamas. I am sure there is more that I have forgotten. But, when all these facts are put together, it seems clear that the Democrats have an antisemitism problem that they pretend does not exist.

And note that Pelosi and Omar both get most of their votes from white people, the only people that don’t practice identity politics. This whole mess is really a civil war among whites with Christian backgrounds. Any minorities are peripheral.

The think I love about her “comments” are.. her fuller quote was something like

“Because some people did some thing, all of us (CAIR is the AUDIENCE OF THIS SPEECH BTW) are losing on civil liberties”
