Equipment sales lot draws theft. Local law enforcement doesn’t even show up any longer! They tell you to come in a fill out a police report for insurance purpose. they usually take under the deductible, but they do it a couple of times a month.
The bad part is they hide in our driveway to catch speeders! I should get part of that action!
Property is theft! Expropriate the expropriators!
So if you are black Hispanic or an illegal alien you are considered poverty stricken and you are allowed to steal 750 dollars from any business you like and you will get away with it. What do the business owners say? what is their recourse for the stolen goods? do they get compensated? What of a poor white guy or a homeless vet stole from a store would he get the same treatment? I SAY NO. This is geared to the minorities who are now being told they don’t have to abide by the white mans laws, that’s only for white people. What happened when the stolen merchandise is 751 dollars? What if a family of 15 each stole 750 dollars worth of merchandise form a store that’s $11,250 stolen from one store in one instance. What if a whole black , Muslim or illegal community did this in walmart or target? Looking into the future will this number rise to compensate for the poverty level and inflation? I am so sick of these f##### THE DALLAS COUNTY DA SHOULD BE BROUGHT UP ON CHARGES, NOT UPHOLDING THE LAW

In NYC the policy used to be the store could ask you to pay five times the amount stolen.
If you failed to agree to pay or to pay you would be prosecuted.
The math on this is interesting. Rounding it down to 700 dollars, someone could steal 700 dollars worth of goods a day and that comes out to about 21,000 dollars a MONTH, or 240,000 dollars a YEAR! If enough people do this, it would bankrupt this entire country!

Pretty much. Businesses will have to spend money to install doors that have to be unlocked at the push of a button. Which will raise prices as well.

That’s what people don’t understand about the phenomenon known as “shrink” in the retail business.
Say your profit margin on an item is 10%. That means if somebody steals one, you actually have to sell TEN MORE in order to cover your loss and get back to break even.
Given the exponential nature of that fact it does not take very long to shoplift a store out of business.

Shoplifting alone costs retailers close to $50 Billion a year. All of the new Soros planted Attorney Generals like this POS in TEXAS have instituted these asinine Social Justice BS items. Our cities are completely lost. They hold the politics/population/demographics that will eventually make the GOP irrelevant nation wide.
