Fox has been really stupid with how they have handled this. Even if it turns out to be an accident, Cavuto and Shepard Smith have increased suspicion and caused several articles about how they have censored their guests.

I have no idea how insurance works in a socialist country like France, but in the USA, most of the loss should be covered under the Church's fire and casualty policy, the contractor's general commercial liability policy, and /or a builder's risk policy -- assuming that the fire was not an act of terrorism or otherwise an intentional act.
