One wonders, hypothetically, how the Islamovermin would react if a large, silent drone flew over the Grand Mosque in Mecca and dumped a vile mixture of tons of rendered pig fat, pureed dog leavings, and jellied gasoline onto the Kaaba before igniting the entire wretched mess into a noisome flame of pure, nasty opinion. Would the Islamovermin then adopt a different attitude about trying to burn down Christian churches across France and the planet?

How many more warnings and last chances is Our Creator going to send?

No, Denis, it does matter if the fire was started by adherents to jihad! A satanic cancer is killing what tattered remnants remain of Western Civilization, and islam is the metasticized symptom.

PragerU, at youtube, offers this Ben Shapiro gem (one of the best vids I’ve seen in a long, long time):

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RVD0xik-_FM

“Why Has the West Been So Successful?”

It is supportive of the point Prager makes above.

According to freepers who are reading the Daily Mail, most of the comments were jokes about Notre Dame burning and we had quite a few jokey remarks about it here yesterday. I suspect Prager is right - Christianity is in major trouble and the burning of Notre Dame is painfully symbolic.

I just saw one today - some guy was bragging about how good his joke was.

I’m not saying it was an overwhelming amount of people - but FR has a lot of idiots. Haven’t you noticed, lol?

“These events can only lead to an awakening of the ‘inner Viking’, a regression to the dark ages, and unspeakable horrors. They do not really understand the consequences of their actions, because they believe that Christianity has made them ‘weak’.”

All races have a core of brutality. Ours just does it more efficiently, with better equipment. There is a meme I saw which I cannot find now. It was a split picture, the first of dark men overturning a car, with the title “when black people riot.” The second was of an atomic bomb blast, with the title of “When white people riot.”

Has anyone heard if the hunchback is now homeless? Enquiring minds want to know.

I think a Dennis might answer that just as negligence and incompetence sparked the fire that burned down the cathedral, negligence and incompetence is burning down Western civilization. The West is not valuing its culture, and not sustaining its population. How more symbolic can it be?

The biggest lie about Christianity is that it is a creed of the weak and humble.  On the contrary, Jesus threw the money changers out of the Temple.  And he struck down the fig tree which bore no fruit.

The cathedral is merely a symbol for the courageous men and women who build a civil society and root out the evil that surrounds them.

The Founding Fathers were men of God who recognized that having a Constitution without morally strong men to buttress it is like building a cathedral out of balsam wood.

A focused furiosity is sometimes needed to move forward a nation... a community... a family.

I believe you missed Prager's point. From a temporal standpoint, it certainly does matter whether the fire was started by terrorism or by accident. But from the higher, spiritual perspective, the sovereign God of the universe allowed this to happen for his own purposes - a fact we ignore at our increasing peril.

A focused furiosity

We last focused our furiosity after 9/11.
It lasted about ten days. Then the flags
were replaced by yellow ribbons, the ‘jumper’
photos were quietly archived, and we prepared
to yearn our way to victory.

The Al-Aqsa Mosque, the third holiest site in Islam was burning at the same time as the fire in Notre Dame...not by accident...

Well said, and a few days ago that furiosity was lowered to “some people did something.”

Any country that thinks water boarding is torture,
is probably too compassionate to survive.

You’ll know the process is underway when something that was described as an outrage begins to increasingly be called a tragedy.

"The left believes that protecting Western civilization is equivalent to protecting white supremacy."

Exception: great churches, that would be "politics aside." Then again, "politics aside" more like regular cultural reappropriation in reverse.

No, European Christians did NOT persecute Jews. Many people who called themselves Christian did. True Christians do not persecute anyone. Corrie Ten Boom and Dietrich Bonhoffer were the true Christians.
