. We should react like Whoville did on the morning of Christmas - by singing praises to God the Most High, who created the heavens and the earth and all of us on it.

First of all, The Who's were singing the praise of Fahoo Fores Dahoo Dores, whatever god that is. And secondly, I just remember the Grinch hating Christmas and repenting when his cardiovascular condition improved, although and enlarged heart normally kills people. But he did, not declare jihad and , burn their churches down and killing all Fahoo Fores Dahoo Dores believers.

Re: “First of all, The Who’s were singing the praise of Fahoo Fores Dahoo Dores, whatever god that is.“

“Fahoo fores, dahoo dories” are simply nonsense rhyming words that Dr Seuss was famous for. It was not the name of some made up god. Seuss included the name “Christmas” in the song.

The point of the story was that even though the Grinch thought he could stop Christmas by taking all their presents, decorations, and food, he discovered that Christmas did not “come from a store” - it “came just the same.”

I’m not saying Dr Seuss was a Christian, but the story is definitely not pushing a worship of another god. If that were the case, that special would never have aired in 1965 - it would have been banned. Don’t be such a grinch.

I was referring to the original Dr. Sues cartoon. Not that Jim Carrey Abomination!
