Colour me skeptical.
Judah found religion under Zedekiah, and found it again under Jeremiah after the fall.
They were willing to do absolutely anything except for what God actually asked.
Or maybe colour me cynical.
A few eventually got their act together.
All things do work together for good, but put not your trust in men.

Elements are there for revival. Many have come to the end of themselves. Heavenly Father bring Revival to Venezuela.

The Gods of the Copybook Headings return...
“And that after this is accomplished, and the brave new world begins
When all men are paid for existing and no man must pay for his sins,
As surely as Water will wet us, as surely as Fire will burn,
The Gods of the Copybook Headings with terror and slaughter return! “

People with pleading eyes and desperate faces crowded into tents where evangelists cried in triumphant gloating that man was unable to cope with nature, that his science was a fraud, that his mind was a failure, that he was reaping punishment for the sin of pride, for his confidence in his own intellect -- and that only faith in the power of mystic secrets could protect him from the fissure of a rail or from the blowout of the last tire on his last truck.Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged, Part II ("Either-Or"), Chapter V ("Account Overdrawn"), page 499
Rand was a skeptic about religion, and her description of a society unraveling differs from what is happening in Venezuela. People there are turning to religion because there appears to be nothing left to hope for in socialism.
