It happens on the East Coast also. Emory University made a student take down an American flag because they said it might be intimidating to foreign born students.

The Laguna Beach Police Department in Orange County recently added American-flag-style lettering for the word “police” on the sides of the vehicles, the Los Angeles Times reported Saturday. …They sure did report it, but they called the lettering “American flags” instead of what it is. And they piled on the left-wing slant extra thick.
